Cuscal is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead design and delivery of complex payments software. You balance hands-on coding with platform strategy, guiding teams through architecture decisions and delivery milestones.

You'll mentor engineers, review code for quality and security, and help scale systems on AWS with CI/CD and DevOps practices, while collaborating with product and architecture teams.

Formación

• Extensive experience as a software engineer including leadership responsibilities.
• Domain knowledge in Payments, Settlements and Disputes.
• Experience implementing development automation, CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead technical solution design and delivery aligned with domain architecture strategies.
• Provide hands-on engineering support and help developers resolve technical challenges.
• Review code and ensure solutions meet quality, security and engineering standards.
• Identify technical risks and drive resolution across squads.
• Embed development, testing and operations practices across the squad.
• Support root cause analysis, post-incident reviews and defect prioritisation.
• Lead release planning and technical delivery decisions.
• Contribute to strategic technical roadmaps with product and architecture teams.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and processes.
• Mentor engineers and uplift technical capability across the team.
