Zusammenfassung

Cuscal is seeking a hands-on Senior Integration Engineer to join our Engineering Practices team. You will deploy, configure, maintain and harden core integration infrastructure across development, staging and production to support enterprise technology environments.

You’ll build automated, secure, highly available platforms using Confluent/Kafka, IBM MQ, IT integrations, and API gateways, while enhancing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices for reliability and audit-readiness.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of infrastructure or platform engineering experience in a regulated or large enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with 3–4 core integration technologies such as Confluent/Kafka, IBM MQ, IBM ACE, Sterling Integrator, Control-M, MFT, API gateways, Azure Service Bus or SQS/SNS.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience using Terraform, Ansible and Helm.
• Strong CI/CD pipeline design and management experience with secure deployment patterns and environment promotion.
• Experience supporting Kubernetes and Docker environments with a focus on operational reliability.
• Monitoring and observability experience using Grafana, Prometheus, ELK or equivalent tools.
• Working knowledge of mTLS, certificate management, secrets handling, Linux administration and scripting with Bash or Python.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to produce technical documentation, runbooks and operational updates.

Aufgaben

• Deploy, configure, maintain and harden the core integration infrastructure that underpins Cuscal’s enterprise integration capability.
• Translate platform standards into automated, secure and highly available environments across development, staging and production.
• Strengthen reliability through high availability, disaster recovery, failover testing and capacity planning.
• Implement platform hardening, mTLS, certificate lifecycle management and secure secrets handling in partnership with Cyber Security.
• Create monitoring dashboards, alerts, runbooks and operational handover artefacts that keep the platform supportable and audit-ready.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, identity, cyber and vendor teams to resolve blockers and deliver consistent platform standards.
