Job summary

Tech Mahindra Canberra is seeking a Lead ServiceNow Developer to lead complex enterprise ServiceNow initiatives across ITSM modules and integrations. You will design workflows, implement UI components, and drive updates across Dev, Test, Prod environments with strong stakeholder collaboration.

You should have deep hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, discovery and integrations, plus scripting (JavaScript/Angular) and agile delivery in large teams.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of engineering and development experience in enterprise tools for infrastructure operations like ServiceNow and BMC Remedy.
• 4-5+ years hands-on implementation experience with ServiceNow ITSM modules development and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with IT Services modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Service Portal, CMDB, Release, Knowledge, Reporting, integration with web services.

• Lead design and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM solutions.
• Develop and optimize workflows, business rules, and UI components.
• Coordinate migrations of update sets across Dev/Test/Prod environments.

Lead ServiceNow Developer

Must Have

• 7- 10 Years Engineering and Development experience in enterprise tools for Infrastructure operations, like ServiceNow, BMC Remedy
• 4 -5 plus years of hands on implementation experience with ServiceNow ITSM Modules Development and Implementation
• Hands on experience on various IT Services modules of ServiceNow viz. Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Service Catalogue Requests, Service Portal, Configuration Management, Release, ServiceNow Administration, Knowledge Management, Reporting, Gauges, Integration with Web Services.
• High proficiency in developing workflows, business rules, UI Pages, UI actions, catalog items.
• Demonstrate knowledge of JavaScripts, Angular JS.
• Strong experience in ServiceNow Dev instance establishment and migration of update sets to Test and Prod.
• Demonstrate knowledge of UI design and strong UI programming skills.
• Good understanding and hands on experience in CMDB, Discovery and Event Management Concepts and their integrations with ITSM modules.
• Handson experience on implementing ServiceNow Integrations with 3rd party tools.
• Experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, develop conceptual designs and the implementation of the design within ServiceNow.
• Expert knowledge with ServiceNow ITSM module and knowledge in developing workflows, business rules, UI Pages, UI actions, catalog items.
• Demonstrate knowledge of UI design and strong UI programming skills and experience interviewing stakeholders to gather system requirements, develop conceptual designs and the implementation of the design within ServiceNow.
• Good documentation and communication skills.
• Exposure working in agile project teams.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Implementation Specialist Trainings accreditation and certifications is desirable in at least one of the following:
• CIS - ITSM Implementation
• Expert knowledge with ServiceNow Asset Management module, Scan delivery of IT asset into the Asset Inventory Database and Demonstrate knowledge to integrate MS SCCM tool with ServiceNow.
• Establish the process to ensure that assets under the control of the IT organization are identified, controlled and properly cared for throughout their lifecycle and Track change activities of assets due to installations, movements, transfers, and removals.
• Intermediate knowledge on how following tools works with respect to application deployment: Jenkins, Chef, Tomcat, JBoss, Weblogic, Database etc.
• Integrations knowledge like LDAP, SSO, JIRA, Workday, Slack, Tanium etc.
• Experience with networking devices.
• Experienced with networking concepts like proxy servers and Firewalls.
