Job summary

Creative Technology Australia & New Zealand is seeking a Service Manager in Sydney to lead a skilled service team responsible for inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of extensive rental inventory. The role collaborates with Warehouse, Operations, and technical teams to ensure equipment availability and readiness.

You will drive preventative maintenance, coordinate turnaround, and maintain service records, while liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to control costs and ensure

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a technical service team.
• Experience working with professional video, broadcast, AV, production or rental equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a small team of service personnel.
• Manage servicing, maintenance, testing, and repair of video, broadcast, and production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate repairs and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers; create purchase orders for service/repair work.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
