Job summary

Creative Technology Australia & New Zealand (CT) in Sydney seeks an experienced crewing coordinator to manage crew on local and national projects. You will schedule technical teams and coordinate related administration within the live events and broadcast industries.

The role evolves into leading a small service team, overseeing maintenance, repairs, and throughput of equipment, and ensuring operational readiness across the rental inventory. Strong leadership and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or supervising a technical service team.
• Experience with professional video, broadcast, AV, production or rental equipment.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
• Collaborative with warehouse and operations teams.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and service tracking processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support a small team of service personnel.
• Manage servicing, maintenance, testing, and repair of video, broadcast, and production equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
• Coordinate equipment turnaround and availability with Warehouse Manager.
• Prioritise repair and service activities to meet rental commitments and customer expectations.
• Maintain service records and equipment history using ERP (Easy Job).
• Coordinate repairs and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers; create purchase orders.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve service processes and reliability.
• Support equipment evaluation, asset management, and lifecycle planning.
