Job summary

Zeal Personnel in Perth seeks a motivated Lead Project Engineer to drive multi-disciplinary mining projects from study through commissioning. You will support the Project Manager, ensuring delivery on budget, schedule and quality.

Based in Perth with future site work, you will interpret drawings, manage tender packages, and coordinate vendors, contractors and stakeholders across local and international projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining projects and full project lifecycle.
• Ability to manage cost and schedule with strong planning.
• Experience with estimating, tendering and contracts.
• Interpretation of engineering drawings, documents and specs.
• Strong stakeholder, vendor and sub-contractor liaison.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in delivering multi-disciplinary mining projects.
• Plan, report and track progress to ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare Tender and Contractor packages and award them.
• Manage interfaces with vendors, contractors and sub-contractors.
• Provide on-site construction support and resolve design issues.
• Liaise with stakeholders on technical and project delivery aspects.
• Perth-based role with future site presence during construction.
