Job summary

pitt&sherry is seeking an experienced Roads Engineer to lead the design and delivery of road and civil infrastructure projects across New South Wales. You will join the Sydney Transport and Infrastructure team, progressing from concept through to construction support and tender inputs.

You will contribute to complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with clients, councils and internal teams, delivering high-quality design outputs and technical guidance.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of civil/road infrastructure design experience in NSW or similar.
• Experience delivering road design for State authorities, councils or energy/utilities sectors.
• Knowledge of Austroads Guides and NSW design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of road and civil projects across NSW.
• Prepare concept to detailed designs, reports and tender inputs.
• Support construction phase activities and client engagement.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
