Job summary

pitt&sherry is seeking a Roads Engineer to design and deliver road and civil infrastructure projects across New South Wales. You’ll join the Sydney Transport and Infrastructure team, contributing from feasibility to construction support while mentoring others and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

You will lead geometric design, drainage and earthworks, balancing technical delivery with project priorities and budgets. A flexible work arrangement is offered with office and home time.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years’ experience in civil and road infrastructure design.
• Experience delivering road designs for state authorities and councils is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Austroads, standards and drainage principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of road and civil infrastructure projects across NSW.
• Prepare concept to detailed designs for state and local roads and intersections.
• Develop design documentation including drawings, reports and tender inputs.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers.
