Job summary

Commonwealth Bank’s Retail Risk Analytics, Insights & Visualisation team seeks an on‑site Manager, Risk Analytics Engineering to design and deliver scalable data products and analytics solutions. You will lead production‑quality pipelines, data models and governance, collaborating across Risk, Business and Technology.

You’ll drive automated testing, monitoring and data‑quality controls, enable CI/CD, and contribute to cloud migration.

Qualifications

• Strong data or analytics engineering experience.
• Ability to translate business, risk and regulatory requirements into data engineering solutions.
• Experience with cloud platforms, dbt and modern analytics engineering tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines, curated data products and transformation frameworks.
• Establish reusable data models and engineering patterns for trusted risk data.
• Introduce automated testing, monitoring, documentation and data-quality controls.
• Improve how analytical assets are deployed via CI/CD, version control and orchestration.
• Contribute to cloud migration and platform modernisation for scalable solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and coach team members; grow analytics engineering capability.
