Job summary

CommBank in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Manager, Risk Analytics Engineering to design and deliver scalable data products and analytics engineering solutions for Retail Credit Risk.

You’ll lead data pipelines, establish reusable models, and drive automated testing, monitoring and CI/CD across the analytic product lifecycle while partnering with risk, business and technology stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering background with production-quality data pipelines and analytics products.
• Experience with cloud migration and platform modernization.
• Ability to translate risk and regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience with dashboarding tools and AI-assisted tooling is a plus.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and coaching capability.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and data products.
• Establish reusable data models and engineering patterns for trusted risk data.
• Introduce automated testing, monitoring and data-quality controls.
• Improve deployment practices with version control, CI/CD and orchestration.
• Partner with risk specialists to turn regulatory questions into insights.
• Provide technical leadership and grow analytics engineering capability.
