Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking a lider of analytical engineering within People and Engagement Technology. You will guide a small team across Australia and India, acting as the data engineering SME and delivering robust data products.

You will own the shared data platform, collaborate across product, engineering, analytics and governance, and help turn business problems into well-defined data solutions that drive decision making.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt and AWS services (Redshift, S3, Glue) with advanced data engineering capabilities.
• Experience architecting scalable, production-grade analytical data products and enforcing engineering standards.
• Proven ownership of end-to-end analytics platforms with focus on resilience, performance and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytical engineering across People and Culture and guide a small team in Australia and India.
• Act as the subject matter expert for data engineering and deliver data products from business problems.
• Own the shared data platform and collaborate with product, engineering, analytics and governance stakeholders.
