Job summary

Commonwealth Bank of Australia is seeking a hands-on Manager, Risk Analytics Engineering to design and deliver scalable data products for Retail Credit Risk. Qualifications

• Strong data or analytics engineering experience with reliability and governance.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience delivering production-quality data pipelines and analytics products.
• Knowledge of data modelling, automated testing, monitoring and data-quality controls.
• Experience with cloud data platforms, version control, CI/CD and orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and curated data products using SQL, Python and modern analytics engineering tools.
• Establish reusable data models and engineering patterns for trusted risk data.
• Introduce automated testing, monitoring, documentation and data-quality controls across the lifecycle.
• Improve development and deployment through version control, CI/CD and orchestration practices.
• Contribute to cloud migration and platform modernization for scalable analytics.
