Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services Pty is seeking a technical leader to oversee South Australian rail construction delivery on a full-time basis. The role operates on a 10:4 DIDO roster and supports senior project and operations leadership with engineering, quality and delivery oversight.

You will coordinate engineering, safety and environment compliance, interpret designs, and manage inspections and non-conformance while coaching staff and building stakeholder relationships for future

Qualifications

• An Engineering bachelor degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
• Membership or eligibility for membership of Engineers Australia.
• At least five years of rail engineering experience.
• At least three years developing and managing project schedules.
• Successful experience in comparable project or business operations management.
• Ability to develop stakeholder relationships and identify business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and construction against safety, programme, budget and quality objectives.
• Interpret designs and develop construction methods and risk controls.
• Manage inspection, testing, audits and non-conformance resolution.
• Support procurement, estimates, budgets and subcontract administration.
• Coach project staff and improve delivery processes.
• Coordinate stakeholder reporting and rail safety and environmental compliance.
