Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Quality and Safety Lead – Community Aged Care to strengthen quality, safety and clinical governance across our Community Aged Care program, helping ensure older Australians receive safe and person-centred care at home and in the community.

You will coordinate audits, support incident reviews, monitor risks and contribute to accreditation readiness, working with care teams and governance functions across our Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane offices.

Qualifications

• Collaborative healthcare, aged care or community services professional.
• Experience supporting quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong written communication and governance documentation skills.
• Experience engaging stakeholders in quality improvement and governance.

Responsibilities

• Support quality, safety and governance across the Community Aged Care program.
• Act as a link between Care at Home and Care Services for governance matters.
• Lead reviews of significant incidents and consumer feedback.
• Monitor clinical and service risks and maintain the Risk Register.
• Develop the annual audit and assurance schedule and track actions.
• Support accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
• Analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare reports, dashboards and committee papers for governance.
• Build capability through staff education and practical guidance.
