Job summary

St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Quality and Safety Lead – Community Aged Care to strengthen quality, safety and clinical governance across our Community Aged Care program, helping ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care in homes and communities across Melbourne.

In this full-time role, you will collaborate with operational leaders, clinicians and governance teams to coordinate audits, review incidents and drive continuous improvement, shaping a safer and more connected care

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Understanding of clinical governance and risk management.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical improvements.
• Experience across multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written reporting and governance documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of quality, safety and governance across the Community Aged Care program.
• Act as a key link between St Vincent’s Care at Home and St Vincent’s Care Services for oversight.
• Lead reviews of incidents, complaints and consumer feedback.
• Monitor risks and maintain the Community Aged Care Risk Register.
• Develop and coordinate the annual audit and assurance schedule.
• Support accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Analyze data to identify recurring themes and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare quality, safety, risk and assurance reports for governance oversight.
• Build capability with education and practical guidance across teams.
