St Vincent’s Private Hospital Brisbane – Sydney NSW is seeking a Clinical Safety and Quality Lead for Community Aged Care to strengthen quality, safety and governance across the program. You will collaborate with care teams, inspect incidents, support audits and drive improvements in home-based care for older Australians.

The role offers full-time work across Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane group offices, with focus on risk management, accreditation readiness and practical governance enhancements.

Qualifications

• Collaborative healthcare, aged care or community services professional with experience supporting quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Strong written communication and ability to prepare governance documentation and quality improvement resources.
• Experience engaging stakeholders in quality improvement and governance activities.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of quality, safety and clinical governance requirements across the Community Aged Care program.
• Act as a key link between St Vincent’s Care at Home and St Vincent’s Care Services, supporting communication and shared oversight of quality, safety and risk matters.
• Lead and facilitate reviews of significant incidents, complaints and consumer feedback, ensuring follow-up actions and investigations as needed.
• Monitor clinical and service risks, maintain the Community Aged Care Risk Register and assist leadership with risk identification and management.
• Develop and coordinate the annual audit and assurance schedule, review findings and support improvement actions through to completion.
• Support accreditation readiness and regulatory compliance through self-assessments, evidence collection and corrective actions.
• Analyse data to identify recurring themes, risks and opportunities for service improvement.
• Prepare quality, safety, risk and assurance reports, dashboards and committee papers to aid governance oversight.
• Educate operational teams to build quality and improvement capability and promote consumer involvement.
