Job summary

Georges River Council is seeking a Project Engineer to lead delivery of building, civil and community infrastructure across the Georges River area. You will manage projects from concept through procurement, construction and completion, coordinating with contractors, consultants and government agencies to achieve scope, budget, quality and time objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering building, civil and infrastructure projects.
• Strong budgeting, financial management and cost control.
• Stakeholder engagement with government agencies and communities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reports and funding submissions.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards and WHS legislation.
• Risk management in construction projects.
• Current Class C Driver Licence and Construction Induction White Card.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from concept to completion with scope, budget, quality and time controls.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants and government bodies.
• Prepare reports, briefing notes, and funding submissions for senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and contract administration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
