Atlassian is seeking a Lead Product Designer for Jira to conceptulize and deliver industry‑leading experiences. You will mentor the Jira design team, lead strategic initiatives, and manage interconnected projects so Jira feels designed by one hand.

You will own end‑to‑end product experiences, collaborate with engineers, PMs, researchers, content designers and analysts, and advance AI‑native workflows across the Teamwork Collection. Join a world‑class design organisation driving customer value.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design for complex or enterprise software.
• Strong visual design craft and high-fidelity prototyping.
• Ability to present clear options and trade-offs.
• Experience designing AI-native processes and tooling.
• End-to-end UX and product design experience.
• Storytelling to bring design direction to life.
• Experience user research, design thinking and prototyping.
• Balancing customer needs with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management experience.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end experiences integrating AI into Jira workflows.
• Create cohesive design patterns across Jira, Rovo, and 1P/3P flows.
• Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to define a unified vision.
• Lead design projects from concept to delivery, focusing on customer value.
• Define success metrics to measure impact.
• Identify opportunities to evolve AI-native product features.
