Job summary

Northern Star Mining Services Limited in Western Australia is seeking a residential Process Technician – Leading Hand at the Kanowna Belle Operation. The role offers a long‑term future with a 7/7, 12‑hour day and night roster and a path to technical leadership within a world‑class mining team.

You will lead and coach a processing crew, manage daily tasks, champion safety and environmental compliance, and drive continuous improvement to optimise plant performance and KPI delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in mining or processing operations.
• Solid understanding of fixed plant maintenance principles and safety compliance.
• Ability to plan and allocate daily tasks for a crew and manage work orders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the processing plant performance, tailings handling, and KPI delivery.
• Coach and develop crew members; monitor and improve productivity.
• Allocate daily tasks, initiate maintenance work orders, and support operational improvements.
• Ensure safety, environmental and site policies are followed and reinforced.
