Job summary

Consolidated Power Projects Australia is seeking an experienced primary design professional to step into a leadership role while remaining engaged in technical delivery. Reporting to the Manager - Primary Design, you will guide designers and drafters in our NSW Engineering team, balancing hands-on work with people leadership.

You will deliver across HV substations, BESS, data center connections and other critical energy projects, coordinating workloads, mentoring staff and enabling high-quality

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in electrical engineering, engineering technology, building design, drafting or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in primary design for high-voltage substations within the Australian sector.
• Strong knowledge of substation layouts, clearances, and multidisciplinary interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of designers and drafters within NSW Engineering.
• Provide technical direction and coordinate workloads across multiple projects.
• Mentor team members and ensure high-quality design outputs across HV substations and energy infra.
