Job summary

National Australia Bank Ltd. invites a seasoned Lead, Police Requests to join the Group Investigations team in Melbourne.

You will oversee law enforcement engagement, coordinate requests and disclosures, and ensure privacy and compliance across the bank's information-sharing activities. You will build strong relationships with law enforcement, regulators and internal stakeholders, lead a high-performing team and maintain governance, risk and controls across all disclosure processes to support

Qualifications

• Experience in financial crime investigations, intelligence, law enforcement liaison, fraud or regulatory environments.
• Strong understanding of privacy law, disclosure obligations, financial crime risks and evidentiary requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing specialist operational teams.
• Experience engaging with law enforcement and regulatory stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong risk judgement, decision making and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Police Requests team to deliver quality outcomes.
• Reviewing, assessing and coordinating requests from law enforcement agencies.
• Managing matter deconfliction with the appropriate internal NAB teams, as required.
• Ensuring information disclosures meet privacy, legal and NAB policy requirements.
• Maintaining team governance surrounding controls, quality assurance, operating procedures, and audit readiness across request activities.
• Managing operational, regulatory and conduct risks associated with information disclosures.
• Building effective relationships with law enforcement, regulatory and internal stakeholders.
