CNFiTech Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to design, program, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems for major industrial projects in Sydney. The role involves hands-on site attendance, FAT/SAT planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety and performance.

You will lead automation projects from concept through handover, develop technical documentation, and work with clients and contractors to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, building and commissioning PLC/SCADA projects.
• Understanding of electrical drawings and control system standards.
• Bachelor degree recognised by Engineers Australia in electrical/mechatronics related field.

Responsabilités

• Design, program, test, commission, and support PLC and SCADA systems.
• Lead automation projects from design to handover.
• Develop control system specifications and technical documentation.
• Analyze plant performance for reliability and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, process engineers and clients.
• Plan FAT/SAT, testing, commissioning and site activities.
