Job summary

ElectraNet Pty Ltd in Adelaide is seeking a Manager Network Outages & Access to lead a specialist team responsible for outage planning, switching coordination and asset access across South Australia’s transmission network.

You will balance network security with customer and market impacts, oversee governance and licensing requirements, and drive continuous improvement while mentoring a high‑performing, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a technical, management field or equivalent electricity industry experience.
• Proven people leadership skills including coaching and capability development.
• Experience providing strategic and operational advice on network outage planning and coordination.
• Extensive experience in HV electrical switching with maintenance or project delivery exposure.
• Knowledge of high-voltage power systems operation and associated equipment.
• Understanding switching and asset access governance, legislation, codes and licensing.

Responsibilities

• Lead integrated network outage planning, switching coordination and asset access.
• Oversee short- and long-term outage plans balancing security, customer impact and regulatory obligations.
• Provide leadership across switching manuals, governance and training assurance.
• Collaborate with customers, AEMO, contractors and internal stakeholders to align priorities and mitigate outage impacts.
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture and develop staff capabilities.
