Job summary
ElectraNet is expanding its Substation Engineering team in Adelaide. We are seeking Experienced and Senior Substation Engineers to support the delivery and ongoing performance of South Australia’s high‑voltage transmission network.
Based in Adelaide, you will work across the full asset lifecycle from concept through to disposal, leading technical deliverables and collaborating with partners. Experienced candidates will independently deliver specialist engineering work and, at senior level,
Qualifications
- Accomplished electrical engineer with whole of life experience in HV transmission networks.
- Strong technical judgement and commitment to safety in design and operations.
- Experience in substation primary design, high-voltage plant and infrastructure installation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review engineering scopes, concepts and detailed designs.
- Provide specialist engineering support across the lifecycle of substation systems.
- Ensure HV plant integrates effectively with overall substation design.
- Develop engineering standards and guide other engineers.
