Joval Group in Abbotsford, Melbourne, is seeking a Business Applications Manager to lead the team that runs our Microsoft-centric suite (D365 BC & CE, Power Platform, Power BI, Copilot, Azure). You will own the applications landscape across five entities and drive lifecycle, governance, and reliable operations.

Based in a modern Abbotsford office with work-from-home options, you will mentor three staff, liaise with vendors, and oversee CRM and Transport Management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft business applications and platforms.
• Background in application lifecycle or platform management.
• Ability to coach and develop a technology team.
• Experience managing vendors and implementation partners.
• Practical understanding of cloud platforms, governance and cybersecurity risk.

Responsibilities

• Review current application management and implement lifecycle, support, and governance processes.
• Transition major projects into steady‑state operations (D365 CE, Shipsy TMS).
• Own the business applications and platform landscape for multiple entities.
• Ensure systems are reliable, secure, and fit for purpose.
• Maintain a consistent Application & Platforms lifecycle management framework.
• Support CRM implementation to Transport Management System go-live.
• Coach and develop the team while balancing BAU, development and improvements.
• Collaborate with developers, vendors and partners to resolve incidents.
• Act as escalation point for complex applications and integration issues.
