JFH Konstrukt, a commercial construction and import services company, is seeking a full-time Metal Fabricator to work on commercial construction sites across Brisbane. The role involves marking off and fabricating structural steel, aluminium and other metal stock to make, modify and repair metal products and structures for commercial building projects.

You will read engineering/shop drawings, select and prepare metal stock, mark out, cut, shape and bend metal sections, align parts and join them

Formación

Minimum two years' experience in metal fabrication.
Ability to work independently and take ownership.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Experience leading a large team across multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

Marking off and fabricating structural steel, aluminium and other metal stock.
Reading engineering and shop drawings and specifications.
Welding, bolting and riveting components.
Setting up the work area on site for fabrication and installation works.
Coordinating delivery, unloading, storage and handling of steel and aluminium materials and components on site.
Leading and directing other workers on site, including allocating tasks and checking quality and safety.
