Job summary

Barto Gold is seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to optimise the performance and safety of the fixed plant and related equipment at its Western Australian operations. You will lead a team of mechanical tradespeople to meet maintenance targets and ensure continuous production on site.

The role requires extensive experience with processing plants, preventive maintenance programs, and strong leadership skills to mentor staff and manage shutdowns.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience on processing plants with preventative maintenance programs.
• At least two years in a supervisory capacity leading tradespeople.
• Experience in maintenance planning and managing fixed plant shutdowns.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical trades team to meet maintenance targets and production continuity.
• Liaise with process team, maintenance planners and Superintendent to optimise plant performance.
• Mentor and develop trades staff to foster a culture of safety and excellence.
