Job summary

Gladstone Ports Corporation Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance across fixed and mobile plant at RG Tanna Coal Terminal and Port Central. You will ensure safe, reliable operations and coordinate teams across day and night shifts.

You will drive a strong safety culture, plan and prioritise work, manage contractors and develop apprentices, delivering optimal asset performance for port operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance teams, fostering safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate planned, preventative, breakdown and corrective maintenance.
• Plan, prioritise and allocate daily maintenance work for efficient resources.
• Drive plant reliability and asset performance to meet targets.
• Monitor maintenance activities and implement efficiency improvements.
• Support workforce development through coaching and mentoring.
• Supervise apprentices and team members to build skills.
• Maintain communication with Operations and stakeholders on maintenance and availability.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvements.
• Promote and model a strong safety culture through field leadership.
• Manage contractors through execution to ensure GPC requirements.
