Job summary

Macmahon in Central Queensland is seeking an experienced Maintenance Superintendent to lead our maintenance teams across a major mining operation. You will ensure safe, efficient and reliable mobile maintenance, driving planning, scheduling and asset performance.

Working with Operations, HSEQT and Planning, you will mentor supervisors and trades, manage budgets, and identify continuous improvement to optimise asset performance.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in mining maintenance environments.
• Experience managing heavy mining fleets.
• Experience across maintenance planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance teams to safely achieve production and maintenance targets.
• Drive compliance with maintenance strategies, schedules and operational plans.
• Manage maintenance performance across safety, reliability, cost and quality metrics.
• Provide leadership, coaching and development to supervisors, planners and trades personnel.
• Oversee maintenance planning activities, budgeting processes and resource allocation.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance and operational efficiency.
