Job summary

Infraworks is seeking a Lead Maintenance Electrician to support a major food manufacturing operation in Erskine Park, NSW. This hands-on leadership role combines electrical maintenance, fault finding, and coordinating onsite trades and contractors to keep critical production lines running.

You will manage an 8-hour rotating day/afternoon roster with overtime opportunities, require a NSW Electrical Licence, and drive safety and compliance across the site.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Strong industrial maintenance experience in food manufacturing
• Proven fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with VFDs, motors (induction/three-phase) and stepper motors
• Experience with SAP or similar maintenance systems
• Ability to lead and coordinate trades and contractors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management
• Eligible to work in Australia

About the role

Infraworks is seeking an experienced Lead Maintenance Electrician to support a well-known food manufacturing operation in Erskine Park.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining electrical maintenance and fault finding with responsibility for supporting and coordinating onsite trades and contractors.

You’ll work an 8-hour rotating day and afternoon shift roster averaging 33.3 hours per week, with opportunities for additional overtime.

Key responsibilities

• Providing leadership and technical support to onsite trades and contractors
• Responding to breakdowns and troubleshooting electrical faults
• Completing planned and preventative electrical maintenance
• Completing work orders, SAP updates and shift handover reports
• Coordinating maintenance priorities with relevant stakeholders
• Supporting the Reliability Lead and Planner with critical electrical parts and spares
• Ensuring electrical work and required safety certificates are completed to the appropriate standards
• Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship and site compliance

About you

• Current NSW Electrical Licence
• Strong industrial maintenance experience, ideally within food manufacturing or continuous production
• Strong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting capability
• Experience with VFDs, stepper motors, induction motors and three-phase motors
• Experience with AS-i, Allen-Bradley PLC and SCADA systems
• Experience using SAP or a similar maintenance management system
• Ability to lead and coordinate trades and contractors
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Full Australian working rights
• $63/hr base rate + Super and roster loadings and penalties
• 6-week rotating 8-hour day and afternoon shift roster
