Job summary

The City of Parramatta is seeking a senior planning leader to drive strategic land use initiatives and manage a team of planning professionals. You will shape frameworks, policies and precinct plans and work across Council to deliver sustainable growth and community outcomes.

You will lead complex projects, apply contemporary management practices, and collaborate with State Government priorities. Hybrid working is available, with a competitive remuneration package and strong development

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in statutory and/or strategic land use planning.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead and influence across stakeholders and council departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and delivery of land use strategies and planning projects.
• Manage complex strategic projects with multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate across Council to deliver integrated outcomes for precincts and initiatives.
