Job summary

The City of Ryde is seeking an experienced Senior Coordinator Strategic Planning (also known as Senior Coordinator City Places) to drive delivery of Council’s strategic land use projects. You will guide long-term plans and policies shaping how the city grows, working with internal teams, government agencies, consultants and the community.

You will lead a team coordinating master plans, planning studies and land-use initiatives, ensure statutory compliance with LSPS, LEPs and DCPs, and monitor

Qualifications

• Degree in Town Planning or related discipline is required.
• Extensive experience in strategic land use planning and policy development.
• Experience delivering master plans, LSPS, DCPs and LEPs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to coordinate strategic planning projects, including master plans and land-use studies.
• Prepare, monitor and update LSPS, LEPs and DCPs to meet statutory requirements.
• Oversee staff, consultants, budgets, timelines and multidisciplinary teams.
