Job summary

United Rentals Australia/New Zealand is seeking an Installation Supervisor to lead a small team at Condell Park, NSW, installing and dismantling propping equipment on client sites in line with Australian standards.

You will ensure equipment is serviced, safe, and ready for use, coordinate logistics, liaise with customers, and contribute to a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Training, PPE adherence, and accurate paperwork are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must hold Basic Rigging Certificate and Advanced Rigging Certificate.
• Fitness level sufficient for hands-on installation work.
• Ability to engage with people at all levels on site.

Responsibilities

• Install, dismantle and relocate propping equipment per specs, drawings and Australian Standards.
• Ensure equipment is serviced, safe, clean, and quality-checked before use; report issues promptly.
• Promote United Rentals values and team culture while working with site personnel.
• Plan logistics, ensure appropriate equipment quantities, and assist with project plans.
• Liaise professionally with customers and site teams, identifying sales opportunities.
