Job summary

Vandermeer is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer with 5–10 years of industry experience to own design through to delivery. You will lead engineers and modellers, supported by a Hydraulic Manager, across diverse projects from service stations to large facilities.

You will work in a collaborative Sydney hydraulic team, using Bluebeam, AutoCAD and REVIT, and you will coordinate with councils and authorities while developing your own registrations and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of hydraulic engineering experience in consulting or on-site roles.
• On-site experience with coordination across project stages and authorities.
• Desire to grow into Associate Engineer registrations (NSW) and related bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead hydraulic design from concept through to delivery with a small team.
• Coordinate with engineers and modellers to meet project requirements.
• Prepare project documentation in AutoCAD/REVIT and Bluebeam.
• Engage with councils and authorities to ensure compliance.
• Develop skills and guide the team through project challenges.
