Aspect Personnel seeks an experienced Senior Hydraulic Engineer to lead the design and delivery of hydraulic services across diverse building projects in Geelong. You will own hydraulic engineering work from concept through construction, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineers while liaising with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Hydraulic, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in hydraulic building services design.
• Experience working within an engineering consultancy.
• Knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and hydraulic services requirements.
• Experience with hydraulic design, documentation and project delivery.
• Ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver hydraulic services for building projects.
• Take ownership of hydraulic engineering projects from concept to construction.
• Prepare hydraulic designs, calculations, specifications and documentation.
• Work with electrical, mechanical, structural and civil engineers as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• A degree in Hydraulic, Civil, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in hydraulic building services design.
• Previous experience working within an engineering consultancy.
• Good knowledge of Australian Standards, NCC and relevant hydraulic services requirements.
• Experience with hydraulic design, documentation and project delivery.
• The ability to manage projects and communicate confidently with clients and other consultants.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A practical approach to engineering and problem solving.
• The ability to work independently while also contributing to a multidisciplinary team.
• Chartered status, RPEV or the desire to work towards professional registration would be highly regarded.
