Job summary

Brophy Family & Youth Services seeks a Manager – Home Based Care to lead our Home Based Care team delivering foster and kinship care, plus caregiver recruitment. You will work with children, young people, families and carers to ensure safe, stable and nurturing care arrangements.

You will provide operational and practice leadership, develop Team Leaders and drive continuous improvement while maintaining a child‑centred, trauma‑informed approach.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification with extensive experience in children, youth and family services.
• Strong knowledge of trauma‑informed, child‑centred, culturally safe and evidence‑informed practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Home Based Care team in delivering foster, kinship and caregiver recruitment services.
• Provide operational and practice leadership, support Team Leaders and workforce development.
• Strengthen service quality and keep children and young people at the centre of decisions.
• Build partnerships across Brophy and the broader community to improve outcomes.
