The Recruitment Hive Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking a Lead Full Stack Java Developer to lead the design, development and delivery of Java based solutions for a Federal Government department. You will guide junior and mid-level staff, apply coding standards and ensure secure, scalable outcomes across the SDLC.

This 12 + 24 month contract requires strong RESTful services, API Connect, Db2 and MQ experience, plus Git and Linux containerization.

Formación

• Experience leading full-stack Java development in agile environments.
• Hands-on with RESTful APIs and message queues (MQ).
• Knowledge of containerization (Linux) and CI/CD practices.

• Baseline Security Clearance - Offices in either QLD, ACT, VIC, NSW or SA
• Lead the design, development and delivery of Java based solutions

Our client, a Federal Government department based in Brisbane CBD, QLD, that delivers a range of welfare, health, child and other supports, requires the services of a Lead Full Stack Java Developer for a 12 + 24 month contract.

Duties of the Lead Full Stack Java Developer:

• Lead an Agile MDT.
• Support and guide junior/mid-level development staff applying coding standards.
• Lead the design, development and delivery of Java based solutions within technical environments and systems.
• Design, build, test, support technical outcomes across Governmental SDLC.
• Building high performing customer centric and secure applications.

Skills and Experience - Lead Full Stack Java Developer:

• RESTful web services & API-C (API Connect), Db2 & MQ.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools, particularly Git.
• Knowledge & experience building and maintaining Linux containers.
