Job summary

Discovered People is seeking a Lead frontend architect to own architecture direction for a multi-team frontend in a hybrid Sydney environment. You will determine when to split into micro-frontends versus a monolith and influence composition strategy across teams.

You will spend time coding and setting technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive AI-assisted engineering adoption, with autonomy to defend your architectural calls.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in TypeScript and modern Angular or equivalent frameworks (React acceptable).
• Proven ownership of frontend architecture decisions (micro-frontends vs monolith).
• Experience setting multi-team composition strategy and evaluating module federation vs build-time integration.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture direction for a multi-team frontend and decide when to split into micro-frontends.
• Balance hands-on development with setting technical direction across design, testing and peer review.
• Mentor engineers and drive AI-assisted engineering adoption.
