Job summary

Jobgether invites a Lead Engineer to shape the technical direction of a shared Front End Platform used by multiple engineering teams. You’ll balance strategic leadership with hands-on problem solving, championing modern frontend practices and developer experience.

You’ll influence architecture, performance, accessibility, and platform adoption across product, design, and infrastructure, while mentoring engineers. The role offers fully remote or hybrid work across the East Coast of Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong foundations in frontend development and architecture.
• Experience designing large-scale shared platforms and developer tooling.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, automated testing, and TDD.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Ability to influence roadmaps across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Define technical direction for the front end platform.
• Guide adoption of modern frontend stack across teams.
• Design scalable frontend systems and components.
• Identify gaps and implement practical improvements.
• Influence CI/CD practices at platform level.
• Shape long-term roadmap for performance and accessibility.
