Job summary

Perentie Formwork is seeking a Formwork Foreman to lead a on-site team at Brisbane Airport, QLD. This full-time supervisory role oversees formwork operations, ensures safety, quality and on-time delivery, and manages day-to-day site activity with a focus on budget adherence.

You will supervise crews, coordinate installations, conduct safety briefings and liaise with project managers, engineers and trades to resolve issues. Strong leadership, communication and drawing-reading skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification as Construction Supervisor or Foreperson, or equivalent industry recognition.
• 5–7 years' formwork supervision experience on construction sites.
• Knowledge of timber, metal and proprietary formwork systems.
• Understanding of construction methodology, sequencing and project management.
• Awareness of building codes, safety regulations and WorkSafe requirements.
• Ability to lead and develop a team, communicate clearly.
• Reading architectural/engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise formwork teams and ensure safety and efficiency on site.
• Plan and coordinate formwork installations, scheduling and resources.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings daily.
• Inspect formwork systems for quality and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and trades to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress, timekeeping and budget adherence.
• Maintain site records: daily logs, requests, incident reports.
• Identify improvements to formwork processes and safety procedures.
• Induct new team members and provide on-site training.
• Ensure proper maintenance of formwork equipment and materials.
