Job summary

Nexterra Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an Estimator to join our on-site team supporting plaster and metal formwork projects across the Greater Brisbane Area. The role focuses on preparing detailed cost estimates, reviewing drawings, taking-off quantities, and analyzing quotes.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, and site teams to clarify scope, assess risks, and update budgets as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Must have strong estimating experience for plaster and formwork projects.
• Skilled with Excel and estimating tools; numeric & analytical ability.
• Familiar with local Australian codes and safety standards.
• Ability to coordinate with PMs, engineers, and site teams.
• Experience with bid preparation and tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and analyze supplier quotes.
• Prepare tender submissions and budget estimates.
• Collaborate with project teams to update estimates with project changes.
• Maintain cost databases and monitor market pricing trends.
