Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to support the Long Bay Prison & Forensic Hospital site with high-quality surveillance and building management system maintenance. You will diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and manage subcontractors while liaising with clients to minimise downtime.

The role requires experience with BMS and security systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to obtain NSW Corrections Security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience with control systems and DVM/ EBI products in BMS and security systems.
• Proven experience in System troubleshooting, fault finding and problem diagnosis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Some on call/roster work is required for this role
• Ability to obtain NSW Corrections Security clearance

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day service and maintenance of Honeywell and third-party equipment.
• Manage workload effectively, improve processes, oversee subcontractors, verify work, liaise with clients, elevate issues, and collaborate with Honeywell teams to ensure high-quality service
• Diagnoses faults and repairs on Security/BMS Headend systems
• Manage the Electronic Security Services (ESS) Preventative Maintenance Program, including planning, scheduling, coordination, reporting, compliance monitoring
• Software configuration of EBI, DVM, ECAS, CCTV, IP Intercoms, and DDC control equipment
