Job summary

Honeywell Technologies in Tasmania is seeking two Senior Field Service Technicians to join the Hobart and Launceston service teams. You will service and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS) across commercial, government, healthcare and critical infrastructure sites, with a strong emphasis on customer engagement and safety.

The role requires solid BMS experience, wiring and controls knowledge, and the ability to work independently across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience with building automation, controls or HVAC control systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Relevant Electrical, Electronics, Communications or related technical qualification.
• Strong customer-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain customer-required security clearances.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and troubleshoot Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose system faults and implement effective technical solutions.
• Support system upgrades, modifications and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.

We are seeking two Senior Field Service Technician(s) to join our growing Tasmania Service team, with opportunities available in both Hobart and Launceston. This role is ideally suited to a technically strong BMS professional who enjoys problem-solving, customer engagement and working across a diverse range of commercial, government, healthcare and critical infrastructure sites.

While Building Management Systems (BMS) experience is essential, experience with electronic security systems, including Gallagher, Access Control and CCTV, will be highly regarded.
