Job summary

Story Fresh, a fourth-generation seed-to-store farming company on the east coast of Australia, seeks a Lead Maintenance Supervisor to head the Factory Maintenance team. You will manage line setups, repairs and preventive maintenance across a modern facility, driving continuous improvement and efficient operations.

The role requires strong leadership in maintenance across multiple disciplines, with occasional after-hours work to support access constraints and production schedules.

Qualifications

• Tradesperson with a suitable qualification or 5+ years in a similar maintenance role.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with a positive can-do approach.
• Willingness to perform occasional out-of-hours work to support maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance activities with a courteous, team-focused approach.
• Drive preventative maintenance, planning, and scheduling.
• Diagnose and repair breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Oversee inventory control, purchases, and scheduling using MEX software.
• Perform QA verifications and maintain documentation.
• Own team performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Cover after-hours callouts as needed.
