Job summary

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Electrical, or a related discipline.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience within manufacturing, food processing, meat processing or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance systems, equipment reliability and preventative maintenance practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams in a large-scale production environment.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• A strong commitment to safety, accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership to the maintenance team.
• Coordinate breakdown response and fault-finding activities.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs and improve equipment reliability.
• Balance operational demands with planning and communication to achieve site targets.
• Coach and develop tradespeople and apprentices; support improvement projects.
