Job summary

Ovolo Hotels invites applications for a Food and Beverage Supervisor (Full Time) based on site in Canberra. You will lead service operations across our F&B outlets, ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth event delivery.

As the ideal candidate you will have a minimum of three years’ experience in restaurant operations and events, strong team leadership, and a proactive approach to guest experience and operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in restaurant operations and event delivery is essential.
• Candidate should be flexible to work various shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.
• Strong ownership, communication, team support, and accountability are valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee F&B operations to maximise efficiency, effectiveness and service delivery in line with Ovolo standards.
• Control billing, floats, cash handling and ensure accuracy in payments.
• Maintain high standards of operations, procedures and service.
• Devise and communicate beverage operation standards across the team.
• Keep bar and surrounding areas clean and well maintained.
• Recruit, train and hire staff to build a cohesive team.
• Establish and customize service level standards.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Organise par stock levels for equipment and materials to ensure adequate stocks.
• Minimise beverage complaints and prioritise guest satisfaction.
• Drive team morale and foster a productive, enjoyable culture.
