Job summary

Murrin Murrin Operations, a Glencore subsidiary, is seeking a technically strong leader to coordinate the environment and community team on site in Western Australia. You will ensure the EMS/EMP conforms to ISO 14001 and drive continual environmental improvement across the operation.

The role requires senior environmental experience, people leadership and collaboration with government, communities and internal teams to maintain compliant, transparent environmental performance.

Qualifications

Experience leading environmental teams in mining or heavy industry.
Strong understanding of EMS/ISO 14001 and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

Implement, communicate, review and improve the EMS.
Report on EMS performance to senior management.
Coordinate environmental management activities on site to meet regulatory requirements.
Lead engagement with government, Aboriginal communities and other stakeholders.
Advise on approvals process and obtain required approvals timely.
Coordinate site monitoring, data collection, analysis and reporting for obligations.
