Job summary

Versent is looking for a senior CIAM/Auth0 architect to design and deliver secure identity solutions for customers. You will lead authentication patterns, integrate with APIs and identity providers, and mentor engineers through best practices.

You'll work with clients to translate business needs into scalable identity journeys, while driving automation, CI/CD and cloud-native delivery. Strong leadership and security focus required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of Auth0-based Customer Identity (CIAM) solutions.
• Architect modern authentication and authorisation patterns using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML and Federation.
• Design and deliver customer registration, login, account recovery and self-service identity journeys.
• Build secure integrations between Auth0 and customer applications, APIs and third-party identity providers.
• Provide technical leadership across customer engagements, guiding teams through architecture, design and delivery.
• Develop custom Auth0 Actions, integrations and extensibility solutions to meet complex business requirements.
• Mentor and support engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, best practices and career development.
• Work closely with customers to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable identity solutions.
• Drive engineering excellence through automation, CI/CD, testing and modern cloud-native delivery practices.
• Act as a trusted advisor, helping organisations strengthen their customer identity strategy, security posture and digital experience.

What we're looking for

• Strong experience designing and delivering Auth0 solutions.
• Deep understanding of Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM).
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, SSO, MFA and identity federation.
• Experience integrating identity platforms with modern web, mobile and API ecosystems.
• Strong engineering background across JavaScript/Node.js, TypeScript, .NET or similar technologies.
• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering complex customer-facing solutions.
• Passion for identity, security and creating exceptional user experiences.
