Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Engineer, ideally based in Australia, with flexibility for New Zealand. You will lead a diverse portfolio of automation projects, including design, testing, commissioning, and ongoing support, serving a broad customer base in the evolving New Energy Landscape.

You will manage technical delivery, collaborate with multiple stakeholders across local and global teams, and mentor a growing workforce to sustain mastery and adaptability within a world-class

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (EA certification preferred).
• Experience delivering industrial automation projects with control systems and digital solutions.
• Familiarity with AVEVA systems is preferred.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0 tech, cloud integration and cybersecurity is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across automation projects.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and customer delivery.
• Ensure HSE and quality requirements on site.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, HSE, and Supply Chain teams.
