Job summary

Clevertronics, a global leader in emergency lighting, seeks an Electronics Engineer to design and test robust hardware and embedded firmware. Based at our Scoresby head office, you will ensure reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance across general and emergency lighting products.

You will lead projects, manage schedules, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time.

Qualifications

Bachelor level engineering degree in electronics or equivalent.
Strong power electronics knowledge including SMPS and LED drivers.
Understanding of EMC compatibility and electrical safety.
Experience with PCB layout and embedded firmware.
Project management experience using Jira or MS Project.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of firmware and hardware solutions for General/Emergency lighting applications, ensuring regulatory compliance.
Develop electronic hardware and firmware solutions aligned with overall product architecture and performance goals.
Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, and progress tracking.
Translate customer needs into technical specifications and design requirements for lighting products.
Develop testing procedures for firmware and hardware components and validate reliability and quality.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance product quality and performance.
